We couldn't take the suspense...

Today we had another ultrasound and the baby wasn't so shy this time! We decided to wait until my parents' annual Christmas Eve party to find out ourselves so we could all find out and be surprised together. So, Dr. Williams wrote the sex on the ultrasound photo and sealed it in an envelope for us to block out of our minds for 4 days. Kind of a fun idea huh?
Well that lasted long enough for us to go to the grocery store, put the groceries away and have a phone conversation with my mom...a good couple of hours maybe :)
WE KNOW THE SEX OF THE BABY! But we're not telling until Xmas eve.
We're glad we changed our minds. It was nice to open the envelope together at home and have some time to ourselves to soak it all in. It would have been a little overwhelming I think to open it in front of all of my family members and not really have much time alone to absorb it together.
