One tiny step closer to walking

I have been terrible at keeping up on Simone's crazy-quick development. Besides being busy - sitting at my computer while at home has become a huge challenge. She DEMANDS my constant attention.

She is changing every day right before our eyes. When we wake up with her or I get home from work, there's something new. She looks different or she's saying something different. It's amazing and beautiful and it goes so quickly!

She's now 14+ months old. At her 1 year doctors appointment she was already saying a handful of words. Dad, bottle (bop), diaper, were her first 3 definite words. Now there is so much more... Pa-pa (grandpa), the VERY rare'ma' or 'ma-ma', baby, book, milk, that, no, puppy, Auntie, maca (our name for my grandma) and I'm forgetting some... She signs 'more' and 'all done'. She meows when she sees cats in any form from real to cartoon and 'woof's when she sees a dog. She points to her toes, belly button and ears and sniffs in and out really hard when you ask her where her nose is. I have no idea where she got that. She is now starting to furrow her brow like her daddy does when she doesn't like something. She is climbing everything. She is a dancing machine whenever music is on, whether she's sitting or standing...

But the girl will not walk.

  1. Nice step, simone! :). I'm sure she is just waiting until she'll be really good at it. The late walkers i know never fall over!

Oh and Zoe has only walked on cushy grass, so maybe try that? I guess it's the only place she doesnt mind falling!
